Hi, let me introduce the
main characters in our Family. Jim, also known as "Papa or
Grandpa", is a metallographer, Betty, otherwise known as
"Grandma", is a nurse who worked in pediatrics for 37
years then madea slight change when she worked in internal medicine for
the last three years. We have been married since 1963.

HAVE BOTH RETIRED!
Berniece (Bee), "Nana" and Al are Betty's parents. We lost Nana in May 2001 and Al in 1993. Robert is our son and Theresa is our daughter-in-law. Their children, are Stephen Michael and Margaret "Margie" Ann.

Between all of us we have enough pets to start a small zoo. We have dogs, birds, tortises and fish. No cats as too many of are allergic to them.
We go camping, fishing and rockhounding. Mostly in the southern California area, where we live, and southwestern Arizona.
We are members of the "Convair Rockhound Association". Betty has been the editor of their monthly newsletterThe Tektite for more than 20 years, Jim has been president a few times, and we both have been Board Members for more years than we'd like to remember.
We are also members of
Bounders United. It is an informational organization formed for and by
the owners of Bounder motorhomes for fun and friendship.

Jim and Betty are active adult members of the Boy Scouts of America in the Desert Pacific Council.

Betty started researching our "Family Trees" a few years ago. She has over 14,000 family members in our "forest".
